Slow fashion is at the centre of our design process, focusing on timeless pieces with classic silhouettes and an adventurous spirit. Alongside that is our personal quest to tread lightly on our planet – something that presents a challenge in the fashion industry. Below are some of the ways Drifter is walking with a lighter footprint…. 

GIVING BACK 

We are partnered with TreeSisters whose aim is to rapidly accelerate tropical reforestation. For every order made at Drifter, one tree will be planted through TreeSisters to help limit the impact of climate change. If you would like to further support with a donation of your own, you can do so here. 

MANUFACTURING 

Our production schedule is slow and small to put as little pressure as possible on the people involved and the environment. Our headwear is made on our home island of Mallorca and PRC in ethical fair-trade conditions.

We work directly with our manufacturers and have built an honest and trusting relationship with them.

FABRICS 

Our wool hats are made from sustainable and biodegradable 100% wool and our straw hats incorporate palm leaf and raffia palm.
